Isa sa mga pinag-aalala ko tuwing magbabayad ako ng housing loan ay yung kung totoo bang natanggap ng Pag-IBIG yung ibinayad ko. Madalas akong nagbabayad sa Bayad Center, na isa sa maayos na payment center. Yun nga lang, hindi pa rin nawawala ang aking pag-aalala.

Buti na lang at natuklasan ko ang pag-tsek o pagtingin ng aking payment history sa online sa pamamagitan ng pagbisita sa website ng Pag-IBIG Fund.

Narito ang paraan para makita ninyo ang payment history ng iyong Pag-IBIG housing loan sa online:

1. Puntahan ang Online Housing Loan Verification page sa Pag-IBIG Fund website sa link na ito.

2. I-type ang iyong Housing Loan number at iba pang detalye. Tapos pindutin o i-click ang "Proceed" button.

At lalabas na ang payment history ng iyong housing loan.

Ang payment ay pwede ma-save o ma-download sa iyong kompyuter o celphone. 

Pwede mong gamitin ang payment history para i-tsek kung natanggap nga ng Pag-IBIG Fund ang mga ibinayad mo. Makikita mo ein sa payment history kung tamang amount ba ang natanggap ng Pag-IBIG Fund.

Kung may makitang mali sa payment history ay tawagan mo agad ang Pag-IBIG Fund.

Why I will NOT Pay my Pag-IBIG Housing Loan at MERALCO's Bayad Center

In a previous post, I complained about SM Payment Center because of their collection of 5-peso transaction fee when I paid my Pag-IBIG housing loan. Well, I just discovered that MERALCO’s Bayad Center is much worse! The teller asked me to pay a whopping 7 pesos transaction fee when I paid my Pag-IBIG housing loan last night.

I asked the teller to return the bill for my Pag-IBIG housing loan. The lady answered, “bakit po?” Nagkahiyaan na. So I just continued paying the housing loan at that Bayad Center with a heavy heart.

I felt that I was robbed again and this is much worse.

You may be laughing My Dear Reader because I cried a bucket of tears just because of 7 pesos. “What a terrible miser”, you might be saying now. Sorry but 7 pesos is a big amount of money to me because I worked hard to earn that money.

Well, at least I know now that I should avoid Bayad Center like the plague.

Here is the list of amount service charge for Pag-IBIG housing loan payment:

SM Payment Center: 5 pesos

Bayad Center: 7 pesos

Metrobank: 0 peso

LBC: 0 peso

As you can see, Metrobank and LBC are the best payment centers for Pag-IBIG housing loans. Bayad Center must be avoided and boycotted to show to MERALCO that we do not tolerate their expensive transaction fee.

How to View Your Pag IBIG Loan Online

Do you want to know how much is your housing loan with the Pag-IBIG Fund? Do you want to make sure if what you’re paying is reflected to your Pag-IBIG Fund account? Do you want answers to these questions but you have no time to go to any Pag-IBIG Fund office?

Well, I have the same problem as yours and I got all the answers by just a few clicks. I checked my Pag-IBIG Loan online.

Follow the following steps to know more about your Pag-IBIG Loan:

Step 1: Go to the Pag-IBIG Fund Online Services website and click on the Housing Loan Payment Verification.

Step 2: Fill-up the necessary details in the “Online Housing Loan Verification” page. You must type-in your Housing Loan (HL) Account No. and your name. You will see your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan Account No. on the billing statement sent to you by Pag-IBIG

Type-in the Verification Code then click the Proceed button

Step 3: A new page will appear. Just click the Account Summary to see the details of your Pag IBIG Loan like the full loan amount, the outstanding loan balance and other info.

And that’s it! You can view details of your Pag IBIG Loan in three simple steps.

Other tabs of this page will also allow you to make your billing statement be sent via e-mail.

Good news to members of the PagIBIG Fund. You can now register your account online. This means that you can avoid the long lines that are common in many PagIBIG branches. And since this is an online transaction, you can do this anytime and any place where there is Internet connection.

So, how can you register your account in Pag IBIG Fund Online Registration? Here are the easy steps:

1. Go to PagIBIG Online Membership Registration.

2. On the page that will appear, choose “Register as a New Member” then click Continue at the bottom of the page.

3. Enter the code to prove that you are not a robot then click “Proceed”

4. Fill up the form that will appear. Make sure that your name, the name of parents, and other info are correct. Just click the Next button to go to the other part of the online forms, which are: Other Info, Address, Contacts, Beneficiaries, Member Category, Emp. History, and Summary

5. When you reach the Summary tab or part of the form, you can review your personal details prior to submission to PagIBIG Online Membership Registration. Click Review MDF to review your online registration to PagIBIG Fund.

I highly suggest that you review the information that you entered before clicking the Submit Registration button. You can edit incorrect information by clicking Back. Make sure that all information are correct so as to avoid problems with your PagIBIG Fund account later on.

Click Submit Registration button after your review. The Successful Registration page shall indicate that the registration process was completed.

Registering your account using the Pag IBIG Fund Online Registration is quite easy. It’s just 4 steps. I highly recommend that you use it to avoid the hassles and keep your PagIBIG Fund account updated.

Why I am Disappointed with the PagIBIG Loyalty Card

I first discovered about the PagIBIG Loyalty Card when I was doing a transaction at a PagIBIG branch in Makati. The brochure says that PagIBIG Loyalty Card can give discounts for medicines, LPG, diesel, and other items from partner establishments.

I’m skeptical at first but I decided to get the PagIBIG Loyalty Card when I read that I could get a 5% discount for medicines from The Generics Pharmacy (TGP). I thought that the TGP discount is very good since I was a regular TGP customer.

The Loyalty Card that disappoints.

I was wrong. Until now I haven’t get any discount from The Generics Pharmacy. The salespeople at TGP branches gave the following excuses:

1. “We don’t give PagIBIG Loyalty Card discounts for branded medicines and other non-medicines items for sale in TGP.” 

This is fair and I agree with this reasoning.

2. “We are yet to obtain the computer (or software) that we could use to process your discount”

Well, this is understandable, because most The Generic Pharmacy Branches don’t have a computer to process the receipt. In fact, I can’t remember the time when I received a receipt for the medicines I purchased from TGP. Maybe I should alert the BIR about this.

3. “We only give PagIBIG Loyalty Card discount for medicines with prescription.”

OK. This reason is making me think that The Generics Pharmacy DO NOT want me to avail any discount using my PagIBIG Loyalty Card.

4. “We only give discount for the medicines that will be used by the PagIBIG Loyalty Card holder.”

The TGP vendor asked me “Ikaw ba gagamit ng gamot?” made me so furious. This is the last straw and this made me think of NOT buying any generic medicine from TGP again.

I am not sure if the PagIBIG Loyalty Card is honored by other “partner” establishments but my experiences with The Generics Pharmacy made me doubt PagIBIG’s promises. I felt short changed.

My advice for those who are thinking to avail the PagIBIG Loyalty Card is that they change course. Don’t waste your money. It is better that you try other loyalty cards than the one offered by PagIBIG.
