McDonald’s released this new brochure for their McDo party.

What I immediately saw in this McDonald’s Party brochure are these new McDo party themes: Barbie, Hot Wheels, Thomas and Friends, and Happy.

Ronald and the Gang McDo Party Theme is still available.

The brochure is also helpful for those planning McDo Party for the birthday party of their little kids because it contains these 3 easy steps in booking and preparing a birthday party in McDonald’s:

Step 1: Choose Your Party Theme

You can choose one of the McDo party themes listed above; namely; Barbie, Hot Wheels, Thomas and Friends, Happy, and Ronald and the Gang. You have to pay 2,000 pesos McDo party fee, which is also inclusive of the following party items:

1. Party room

2. Full hosting by Mcdonalds staff

3. 30 pieces invitation cards

4. 30 pieces party hats

5. 30 activity traymats

6. 30 balloons

7. 10 guest giveaways

8. Assorted game prizes

9. Free gift for the celebrant

10. Free Mcdonalds mascot appearance

Note that mascot appearance is subject to available character in the Mcdonald’s store. I suggest that you ask the Mcdonald’s store staff about it

Step 2: Choose your Mcdo party flavors

You can choose the food that you want from the following Mcdo party food mix:

Mcdo Party Food Mix 2, which is composed of 1-piece chicken Mcdo with McSpaghetti, regular fries, sundae, and drink.

Mcdo Party Food Mix 3, which is composed of McSpaghetti, sundae, drink, and 1 Happy Meal toy.

Mcdo Party Food Mix 4, which is composed of 1-piece chicken Mcdo with McSpaghetti, sundae, drink, and 1 Happy Meal toy.

Make-Your-Own McDo Party Food Mix, which allows you to make your own McDo Party Food Mix if you have 30 guests or more.

You can add regular fries, Burger McDo, and apple pie. Take that solo regular prices apply to these add-ons.

Unfortunately, McDonald’s removed the prices so you will not know how much a birthday party in McDonalds will be. I suggest that you ask McDonald’s staff about the prices of McDo Party Food Mix, party items,  and add-ons.

How to Do Philhealth Online Registration

Philhealth is essential in ensuring that me and my family are covered during medical emergencies. In fact, I availed Philhealth medical coverage 4 times: twice when My Beloved Wife gave birth to our two children, and twice when my son was hospitalized.

Our Philhealth coverage is actually deducted from our salaries. Now, many people wanted to know about the status of their Philhealth contribution. It can be done by going to Philhealth office or asking the Human Resource office of your company. Another way, which I believe is the most convenient, is by doing the Philhealth online registration.

If you are interested in Philhealth online registration, here is your handy guide:

1. Go to the Philhealth Electronic Registration System website.

Take note that Philhealth members who are employed, self-employed, OFWs, and retirees (either government or private sector) can use this online facility.

2. Fill-up your personal information at the online form. Make sure that you know your Philhealth Number.

3. You can also upload any of the following documents to ensure that your Philhealth online registration will be approved:

Affidavit of Baptismal Certificate

Alien Certification or Immigrant Certification of Registration

AFP ID

BSP ID

Barangay Certification

Birth Certificate

Certification fro the National Council for the Welfare of the Disabled Person

Company ID

DSWD or Local Social Welfare Development  Officer (LSWDO) Certification

Take note that Philhealth online registration system will only accept JPG, PNG, GIF, and PDF file types. The scanned document should be clear and readable, and the file size per document should not exceed 2 MB.

4. The last step is to just answer the captcha and tick the check box for the attestation and then click “Submit Registration”.

And those are the easy steps for Philhealth online registration. Just wait for the approval of your application in your e-mail.

Why I will NOT Pay my Pag-IBIG Housing Loan at MERALCO's Bayad Center

In a previous post, I complained about SM Payment Center because of their collection of 5-peso transaction fee when I paid my Pag-IBIG housing loan. Well, I just discovered that MERALCO’s Bayad Center is much worse! The teller asked me to pay a whopping 7 pesos transaction fee when I paid my Pag-IBIG housing loan last night.

I asked the teller to return the bill for my Pag-IBIG housing loan. The lady answered, “bakit po?” Nagkahiyaan na. So I just continued paying the housing loan at that Bayad Center with a heavy heart.

I felt that I was robbed again and this is much worse.

You may be laughing My Dear Reader because I cried a bucket of tears just because of 7 pesos. “What a terrible miser”, you might be saying now. Sorry but 7 pesos is a big amount of money to me because I worked hard to earn that money.

Well, at least I know now that I should avoid Bayad Center like the plague.

Here is the list of amount service charge for Pag-IBIG housing loan payment:

SM Payment Center: 5 pesos

Bayad Center: 7 pesos

Metrobank: 0 peso

LBC: 0 peso

As you can see, Metrobank and LBC are the best payment centers for Pag-IBIG housing loans. Bayad Center must be avoided and boycotted to show to MERALCO that we do not tolerate their expensive transaction fee.
