Product Review: Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator (INR-83HS)

We just recently said goodbye to our almost-10 years one-door Condura Refrigerator. We decided to give it away because of the weekly thick ice build up in the freezer. It was such a hassle to defrost and clean that fridge every week.

Our new fridge is the two-door Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator (INR-83HS).

We chose a two-door fridge to separate the freezer from the rest of the fridge. The reason for this is that we can clean the freezer and other compartments of the fridge separately.

Our Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator boasts of a “no frost freezer”, which means that there will be no ice build up in the freezer. Our new Fujidenzo fridge is taller and has more space than our old Condura fridge.

Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator Review

The “no frost” feature of our Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator really works. There is no ice build up, thus there is no need to defrost our fridge every week. This less hassle and chore for us.

The other compartment of the Fujidenzo fridge functions the same as other fridge models and brands out there in the market.

Fujidenzo claims that our new Inverter Refrigerator is more energy efficient than our old Condura fridge. I am not sure if it is true since I cannot quantify its impact on our monthly electric bill.

We bought our Fujidenzo Inverter Refrigerator fridge for 19,000 pesos full cash payment. We purchased it from an appliance store and had it delivered to our home. I am OK with the price of this fridge.

We are happy with our Fujidenzo fridge. It saves us time and effort because there is no need to defrost the ice build up every week.

Our main and only complaint with our Fujidenzo fridge is the lack of door handle that made it very difficult for us to open the fridge door.

My Beloved Wife Lei had been requesting an electric bike (e-bike or ebike) for a very long time. We had visited many ebike shops plenty of times but I still did not buy her any.

So, for her birthday, I brought her to a nearby branch of Kuda Ebike to finally buy her ebike. The ebike model that we chose is the black New Wolf.

Our Buying Experience at Kuda

Buying our Kuda New Wolf Ebike is easy. Kuda's staff assisted us and explained to us the specs of their available e-bikes.

There are plenty of Kuda Ebike models to choose from but Lei chose New Wolf because of its sleek design.

How We Paid Our Kuda Ebike

There are two payment options, which are (1) installment, and (2) full cash payment.

We chose to pay fully in cash since we want to get our Kuda E-bike at the lowest possible price. We were allowed to pay 20,000 down payment and pay in full within 7 days without additional fees.

Our Kuda New Wolf E-bike costs 57,000 Pesos

Kuda staff delivered our new e-bike three hours after the purchase. They also delivered the following freebies:

1. Charger

2. Kuda backpack

3. Kuda cap

The Kuda staff did a demo and explained important things about our e-bike. They did not bring any manual so good luck to me recalling the lengthy explanation of that Kuda girl.

Our Kuda E-bike Driving Experience

I was afraid of driving our Kuda New Wolf because I might hit someone or something. Good thing is that driving a Kuda e-bike is easy.

I already drove around the block on the first practice. We were able to drive around the subdivision in the second to third practice. We then went out of the subdivision ang visited a 7-Eleven on the fourth practice.

We then went to church and used the highway a week after buying our e-bike.

Driving Kuda New Wolf is easy as long as I follow traffic rules and stay on the side of the road. I always check the battery status of the e-bike and make sure that it is fully charged before heading out for a long travel.

According to Kuda, the maximum speed of New Wolf is 40 kilometers per hour (KPH). The truth is that its maximum speed is 56 KPH. It slows down when the the battery goes down.

Some Problems with Kuda New Wolf E-bike

I am generally OK with our Kuda New Wolf, however we experienced one technical problem or glitch with it.

One night, while going home from the grocery, our e-bike suddenly stopped responding and sounded its alarm. I turned off the e-bike two or three times but it still did not respond and continued blaring its alarm. We also heard weird sounds from the rear wheels or the motor. 

Our e-bike returned to normal after turning it on-off a few more times.

We were fortunate that we were in the subdivision when this happened because it might end in an accident if we were on the highway.

Positive Comments on Kuda New Wolf E-bike

1. Easy to Drive - Kuda New Wolf is easy to drive. It was so easy that I already drove it along the highway after a week of practice.

2. Long battery life - The farthest distance that out Kuda New Wolf ran is around 20 km. The battery still have 3 bars after that trip. Of course, the battery will degrade in the long run and the distance it can run will decrease.

3. Reasonable payment terms - I only had 20 thousand pesos when we bought pur Kuda New Wolf. They allowed us to pay the remaining amount within 7 days without any additional fee.

4. Tubeless wheels - A screw punctured the back wheel of our Kuda New Wolf. Good thing that its wheels are tubeless. So it was easily repaired in the vulcanizing shop. The vulcanizing guy just removed the screw, sealed the hole, and refilled the wheel with air in less than 15 minutes! The repair would've been longer if our e-bike's is not tubeless.

Negative Comments on Kuda New Wolf

1. No manual - Kuda has no available manual for their e-bikes. I expected that they would give me some manuals, even in digital format. But nada. Small gadgets have manuals but Kuda's e-bikes didn't have any.

2. Sudden malfunction - I mentioned earlier that our Kuda E-bike malfunctioned once. I was dismayed when it happened because we just bought our Kuda in around 1 month. It only happened once and I do hope that it will not happen again.

So that's my review of Kuda New Wolf. I hope that this can guide you when buying an e-bike.

Review: LG Inverter Front Load Washing Machine (Philippines)

Doing the laundry is one of the most painful house chores. I usually spend 3 hours or more washing our dirty clothes even with the use of a regular washing machine. It is tiring and a waste of time for me and my wife. There were times that we couldn't do the laundry because we are taking care of two kids and one baby.

We can no longer take the pain of doing the laundry so we decided to buy an automatic front load washing machine to ease our burdens.

We checked out many brands of washing machines like TCL and Samsung (too expensive!) - until we finally settled with LG.

Here are the reasons why we chose LG automatic front load washing machine over other brands:

1. Reasonable Price

This is the main reason why we chose LG. We felt that what we spent was reasonable for the technical specs that LG offers. Also, we purchased this washing during the 7.7 Sale of Shopee so we got a very good discount for it.

2. Stylish Design

My Beloved Wife also decided to purchase LG because it looks good. Although she prefers a washing machine in black bit we had to settle with white since this is what's available from the seller.

3. Inverter Technology

This is the reason why I  chose LG for our washing machine. Using the inverter technology means less parts used in the machine, which means that there are less chances for wear and tear. This means that our washing machine will last longer than a non-inverter washing machine.

What we liked about our LG washing machine:

1. Quick and easy laundry 

Our LG automatic front load washing machine truly freed us from the burden of laundry. We finished washing loads and loads of dirty clothes by just pushing buttons. Our LG washing machine already has a spin dryer so we'll just hang the clothes to dry them fully.

2. Drainage tube can be hanged

There are washing machines that need its drainage tube to be placed on the floor and just let gravity do its work. Our LG automatic washing machine is different. We can raise its drainage tube at a height of less than 1 meter. This allowed us to place our washing machine inside the house and just put out the end of the drainage tube out of the window.

3. Allows us to add more clothes

Our LG automatic washing machine allows us to add some clothes even if we started the wash. This means that there will be no dirty clothes "left behind".

4. It is easy to set up

Buyers of this washing machine have the option to call LG service center to set-up their washing machine. It will take days though. So we just set up the washing machine ourselves. The manual, which came with the washing machine, is pretty handy and guided me well in setting up.

5. Our LG automatic washing machine is not noisy

The common complaints with washing machine is the noise. I read about one brand that sounds like a noisy airplane engine. Our LG automatic washing machine is not like that. It sounded with a little "hmmmm" that gets a little louder when it is already rinsing and spin drying the clothes.

What we don't like with our LG automatic washing machine:

1. The Manual is Useless

The handy manual is useless when it comes to operating the LG washing machine. It has no step-by-step guide in starting up the washing machine. We took a long time guessing. Even LG's official Youtube videos are not helpful. Good thing that we found a Youtube video that helped us in operating our LG automatic washing machine for the first time.

2. LG ThinQ App is not working

LG has an app called ThinQ that can monitor the status of our automatic washing machine. I installed it on my phone but it's not working. Well, it is not important since I can run the washing machine without. It would be cool, however, if the app actually works.

The Verdict

All in all, we are satisfied with our LG washing machine. It truly eased our burden. The time that we spent for laundry in the past was now spent for other house chores and taking care of the kids.

I am glad that we purchased an LG automatic front load washing machine.

Why I am Disappointed with the PagIBIG Loyalty Card

I first discovered about the PagIBIG Loyalty Card when I was doing a transaction at a PagIBIG branch in Makati. The brochure says that PagIBIG Loyalty Card can give discounts for medicines, LPG, diesel, and other items from partner establishments.

I’m skeptical at first but I decided to get the PagIBIG Loyalty Card when I read that I could get a 5% discount for medicines from The Generics Pharmacy (TGP). I thought that the TGP discount is very good since I was a regular TGP customer.

The Loyalty Card that disappoints.

I was wrong. Until now I haven’t get any discount from The Generics Pharmacy. The salespeople at TGP branches gave the following excuses:

1. “We don’t give PagIBIG Loyalty Card discounts for branded medicines and other non-medicines items for sale in TGP.” 

This is fair and I agree with this reasoning.

2. “We are yet to obtain the computer (or software) that we could use to process your discount”

Well, this is understandable, because most The Generic Pharmacy Branches don’t have a computer to process the receipt. In fact, I can’t remember the time when I received a receipt for the medicines I purchased from TGP. Maybe I should alert the BIR about this.

3. “We only give PagIBIG Loyalty Card discount for medicines with prescription.”

OK. This reason is making me think that The Generics Pharmacy DO NOT want me to avail any discount using my PagIBIG Loyalty Card.

4. “We only give discount for the medicines that will be used by the PagIBIG Loyalty Card holder.”

The TGP vendor asked me “Ikaw ba gagamit ng gamot?” made me so furious. This is the last straw and this made me think of NOT buying any generic medicine from TGP again.

I am not sure if the PagIBIG Loyalty Card is honored by other “partner” establishments but my experiences with The Generics Pharmacy made me doubt PagIBIG’s promises. I felt short changed.

My advice for those who are thinking to avail the PagIBIG Loyalty Card is that they change course. Don’t waste your money. It is better that you try other loyalty cards than the one offered by PagIBIG.

Product Review: Our Condura Refrigerator

My Beloved Wife Lei and I were just few months married. This means that we are only beginning to build our home. One thing that we did at the start of our marriage is to buy some appliances that will make our lives easy. One such appliance is the refrigerator.

We need to have a refrigerator because it serves as storage space for our food. It prolongs the life of meat, vegetables, and fruits. The refrigerator also keeps vermin, like cockroaches and rats, away from our food.

Of the many refrigerator brands that we checked, it is the Condura refrigerator that got our approval.

A salesman from Emilio S. Lim appliances shop convinced us to buy our Condura refrigerator. Some of the advantages that he mentioned are:

1. The condenser (or the coil located usually at the back of refrigerators) of Condura fridge is not covered but exposed to the air. This means that heat can escape easily, thus making the fridge cool faster.

2. Condura uses Panasonic motors for their refrigerators. This means that our refrigerator has the same output as Panasonic refrigerators but at a lower price.

3. Condura refrigerators are locally assembled, thus our fridge is a local product (Pinoy made).

My Verdict on Condura Fridge

We like our Condura fridge. Lei's only complaint is the color because she didn't like grey. She preferred that our Condura fridge be white or the more trendy red.

I noticed that our Condura fridge makes ice very quickly even if it set on the lowest cooling level. In fact, ice get thick very quickly that we have to defrost once every two weeks.

Despite this observation, I still give our Condura fridge two thumbs up. I highly recommend this refrigerator.

Cooking with Hanabishi Induction Cooker

We received plenty of wedding gifts and most of them are appliances. One of the useful appliances that we received is the Hanabishi Induction Cooker. This electric-powered cooker was given by my sisters because they believe that it will save us a lot of money. It is very thoughtful of them and yeah, we really need to save money because our savings were wiped out after the wedding.

What’s Good with Hanabishi Induction Cooker

Induction cookers are getting popular because of MERALCO’s TV commercial promoting its use. According to MERALCO, cooking with induction cooker save 645 pesos as compared to cooking with gas stove.

More savings is one of the advantage in using Hanabishi induction cooker.


Another advantage is cooking can be done by pressing buttons. There are buttons for frying, hot pot, boiling, braise, and making soup. Temperature can be adjusted by pressing buttons. The buttons that we usually use are the ones for hot pot, boiling and frying.

Cooking is done quickly with Hanabishi Induction Cooker. Soupy meals can be boiled from few seconds to a minute (depending on the amount of water in the pot). Thus, we can finish cooking in no time. This is perfect for us, especially in the morning when we need to make breakfast quickly.

The Not-So-Bad Things with Hanabishi Induction Cooker

One problem with our Hanabishi Induction Cooker is that we have to put plenty of oil when frying because it tends to make the oil evaporate very quickly. The trick, of course, is to reduce the temperature.

Also, the pan will go red hot if you leave it without water or oil. I saw this happened and it scared me. I thought that the pan will melt.


One thing that some of you may not like is that the pan darkens once you use it with Hanabishi Induction Cooker. I think that this phenomenon is common with induction cookers. Another blogger, Melloyello, had the same observation.

Finally, what I didn’t like with induction cooker in general is that the pots or pans compatible with them are very expensive compared to regular pots or pans.

My Final Say

Despite the not-so-bad things that I said about Hanabishi Induction Cooker, I still give it a thumbs up. It is good that we save money when using Hanabishi Induction Cooker. The not-sobad things can be tolerated, anyway.

CDR King USB: Curve Card Reader

My old card reader suddenly stopped working while I was transferring some photos from my camera to the desktop computer. Thus, I was forced to buy a new card reader. I went to the nearest CDR King branch to buy the card reader. I remember that I complained about the CDR King USB extension cord that I bought the last time. CDR King is notorious for having products that malfunction for no apparent reason. CDR King is also notorious for very long queues and ultra-slow service but those are for another blog post.

I told the sales clerk that I need a CDR King USB product that can be used to connect the SD Card of my camera to the laptop. She told me that the CDR King USB product that I need is a card reader. Then she showed me a wide selection of CDR King’s card readers.

Of course I chose CDR King’s Curved Card Reader. I almost didn’t believe that this CDR King USB product only cost 50 pesos. I even told the sales clerk that this CDR King product will not last because it is very cheap.

My Curve Card Reader is already 5 months old but it still works fine. It is quite different from another CDR King USB card reader that my brother bought. It malfunctioned in less than a month. Well, I think that buying CDR King USB products is a sort of lottery. If you are lucky then you get a good product. If not then you’ll get the malfunctioning one.

Nokia C3-01

When my Nokia 5130 Expressmusic cellphone finally conked out, my beloved decided to give a Nokia C3-01 as her birthday present for me. I have a hint what her gift would be days prior to my birthday because she is asking the specs of the cellphone that I want (I answered “any cellphone as long as it has good camera”). What surprised me is that her gift is a silver Nokia C3-01.

Nokia C3-01 Specs

I wanted a cellphone that has a camera that I can use to capture photos for my blogs. My Nokia C3-01 has a 5 Megapixel camera with integrated flash. Nokia C3-01's camera can also take photos at 3.2 megapixels and 2 megapixels. The camera can also take photos in sepia tone or grayscale. C3-01's camera can also be used in taking videos.

Nokia C3-01 has a metal casing that can protect the cellphone's sensitive parts from a nasty fall. My C3-01 once fell at a height of about a meter but it still works fine thanks to its metal casing. Battery life of this cellphone can last for more than a day if you just use it for typing and sending text messages. Battery will not last a day if you are using it as an mp3 player or if you are making calls continuously.

Nokia C3-01 has 2.4” touch screen. I had a hard time using the touch screen at first because it is too sensitive to my fingers. This touch screen became a convenient way of navigating my cellphone after I got used to using it.

Connectivity with Nokia C3-01

Nokia C3-01 has two modes that can be used to connect with other devices. This cellphone can also connect to the Internet through the “wireless local area network” (WLAN).

What I like about my Nokia C3-01 is that is can easily be accessed by the computer. It doesn't require special software like my old Nokia 5130 Expressmusic just to access the files stored inside the phone and the microSD. I can easily transfer picture and music files between my Nokia C3-01 and a computer using USB cable connection. The USB cable can also be used to transfer files between Nokia C3-01 and a USB memory stick or flash drive.

Nokia Ovi Suite software can also be used to access the files stored in Nokia C3-01 from your computer. Unfortunately, the installation CD for Nokia Ovi Suite is not included when you buy the Nokia C3-01.

Another way to connect Nokia C3-01 with other devices is through Bluetooh. This mode allows the wireless connection of Nokia C3-01 with computers, headsets, car kits and other cellphone.

I experienced using C3-01's WLAN functionality while I was inside an SM mall. SM Foodcourt has free WiFi, which I used to test my cellphone's WLAN. Nokia C3-01 uses Opera Mini as its browser. Surfing the net in Nokia C3-01 is easy as long as the WiFi connection is reliable.

Other Features of Nokia C3-01

Other useful features inside Nokia C3-01 are the Calendar and the Media Player. Calendar allows me to remember birthdays and special occasions. I also used this to remind me of my appointments and tasks that I need to do.

Nokia C3-01's media player can be used to play mp3 music files. This cellphone can also be used to listen to FM radio stations.

Other features available in Nokia C3-01 are the voice recorder that can also be used to record phone conversations. Games are also available in Nokia C3-01 and new games can be downloaded from Nokia Ovi Store.

My beloved gave me a good gift for my birthday. Nokia C3-01 has the camera that I need. It is lighter and more durable as compared to my old Nokia 5130 Expressmusic. All in all, Nokia C3-01 is a good phone for me.

Paperless Transaction via BPI Express Assistant Machine

I recently visited a Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) branch located near my office to deposit some of my hard-earned money. When I entered the BPI branch, the security guard asked me what transaction I will be doing inside the bank. I told him that I will do deposit some money. Instead of letting me go to the corner where the deposit slips are located, the guard told me to go to a newly-installed machine located near the bank entrance. The guard told me that the BPI branch is now using the BPI Express Assistant machine for deposit and withdrawal instructions.

The BPI Express Assistant (BEA) Machine, otherwise named as Customer Transaction Assistant Machine, is like the machines of Smart and Globe Telecoms that automates the transactions being made by their customers. However, unlike the automated machines of Smart and Globe, customers will not place their payments inside the machine.

I found the BPI Express Assistant Machine easy to use, which is very unlike the automated machines of Smart. BPI Express Assistant Machine just automates the filling up of deposit or withdrawal slips. You input the transactions that you want into the machine. The transaction can either be cash or check deposit, SSS or BIR payments, and encashment.

For deposit transactions, you will just input the amount of cash or check that you will deposit. The BPI Express Assistant Machine will then print a number slip, which is is like the number that you get when you are queuing at MERALCO when you pay your bills.

Putting up a BPI Express Assistant Machine is good idea for the Bank of the Philippine Islands. It made my transactions at any BPI branch easier and without the hassle of writing down a lot of things in the deposit slips.

Avast Anti-Virus Software

The laptop that I have been using right now suffered a grave infection of computer virus. The condition of my laptop gave me no choice but to reformat the hard drive and re-install the operating system. Reformatting my laptop is a hassle because I also had to to re-install other software that I am using for my work. Also, some of the files in my laptop can't be recovered and were deleted together with the virus.

The reason why my laptop contracted deadly computer virus is that it doesn't have any anti-virus software. Having an anti-virus software is vital because it protects the laptop and computer from the attacks of virus, Trojan horse, malwares and other malicious programs. However, I can't afford the expensive anti-virus software so I had to make-do with the free versions of anti-virus software. I both use Avira Anti-Virus and AVG on my office computer. They work in tandem in my office computer so that if a virus can't be detected by Avira then it can be detected by AVG, and vice versa.

I downloaded Avira and AVG from the Internet for my laptop. Unfortunately, errors keep on cropping up whenever I install both anti-virus software. My operating system (OS) is Windows XP, which is the same OS as in my office computer. I can't find the reason why Avira and AVG keep on having installation errors. I also tried Panda Cloud Anti-Virus but it also have installation errors.

I discovered Avast while I search the Internet for solutions on the installation errors. A comment in a forum said that Avast is better than Avira because it doesn't have installation issues. The comment is correct and now my laptop is enjoying the benefits of Avast Anti-Virus.

The interface of Avast Anti-Virus is almost similar to Avira when it comes to being user friendly. Features that are not present on Avira is the AutoSandbox feature. This feature of Avast forces suspicious files and programs to run inside the anti-virus software, thus protecting the OS and files from malicious files and programs. I encountered the AutoSandbox when I used the TDK Flash Lock software.

Just like AVG, Avast also rates and scan websites that I visited while surfing the Internet. It automatically blocks suspicious websites and pages. I encountered this feature when I visited a page on Mang Inasal's website. I don't know if I will get annoyed by this feature of Avast in the future, but for now I am thankful that this feature protects my laptop from suspicious websites.

What I like the most with Avast is that it automatically updates its virus definition. In Avira, I had to manually update the software, which I usually forgot to do. Avast, on the other hand, updates the software whenever the computer connects to the Internet.

Of the four Anti-Virus software that I used, I place Avast in the first place, followed by Avira, AVG and Norton.

Zooey Golden Box

Orocan is the most popular brand when it comes to plastic wares and furnitures made of plastic. Of course there are brands that are competing against Orocan in the Philippine local market and that is Zooey.

Zooey touts itself as the “maker of quality plastic.” Just like Orocan, Zooey has a wide variety of plastic-made items and one of those items is the Zooey Golden Box.

Zooey Golden Box is not actually made of gold nor just a big box. It is a cabinet with six drawers. In the past, when we need a cabinet, all my father has to do is make one. However, now, it is easier to buy a cabinet than to make one. That is why when my mother needs a cabinet, she just went to the palengke (market) and buy her cabinet from the local stores.

The price of Zooey Golden Box is around 1,000 pesos but you can haggle with the store owner to lower the price. The plastic cabinets can be used to store many things like clothes, papers, etc. The top two drawers have a lock but can’t be relied upon to secure valuable items because the lock can easily be opened by any item that can fit in the keyhole.

Zooey Golden Box is a fine product but because it is made of plastic, this cabinet is fragile and can be broken into bits. However, if you are a sort of person who are careful then owning a Zooey Golden Box is not a problem.

A Review of a Cheap Nokia Battery BP-5M

In a previous post, I gave out some tips on how to buy cell phone battery that may not be the original but cheap. In that post, I said that I bought a China-made Nokia Battery BP-5M after I discovered that the original Nokia Battery BP-5M is too expensive.

After 9 months of using my Nokia Battery BP-5M, maybe it is time for me to give out a review. The battery that I bought is the BP-5M battery that was made by Lim Hong. I bought the Nokia Battery BP-5M at a stall in SM so as to make sure that I will get a warranty if the battery that I bought malfunctioned.

The Lim Hong BP-5M battery functioned well since the time I bought it. That Nokia BP-5M Battery is not easily drained and can last for more than a day if I just use my cellular phone for sending text messages

So far, my Lim Hong BP-5M battery is functioning well. Maybe the reason for this is because I make sure that I don’t overcharge it. I stop charging my cellular phone if I notice that the battery is already full.

I said in this review that my Lim Hong BP-5M battery is functioning well. However, this month I noticed some problems on my phone. My phone turn-off for no apparent reason. I am irritated each time that the phone turn-off suddenly while I am typing a text message. Sometimes my phone turn-off just seconds after I turned it on. I went to a technician to check the problem of my celphone. The technician said that the problem is my Lim Hong BP-5M battery. He said that Lim Hong is not a good brand. He told me to buy a battery with the brand name NYK.

If what the technician said is true then I can say that Lim Hong BP-5M battery is a failure. I will avoid buying any Lim Hong battery next time.

MyPhone QT7 Duo

My brother brought home a new cellular phone courtesy of Sun Network. The new phone is the black-colored MyPhone QT7 Duo. According to MyPhone website, the QT7 Duo is a music phone with trackball. MyPhone QT7 Duo costs 2,990 pesos according to the MyPhone website.

MyPhone QT7 Duo has qwerty keypad and is a dual sim phone. The screen of MyPhone QT7 Duo is a 240 by 320 pixels 2.2 inches pixels QVGA screen. The phone can connect via bluetooth and USB. According to the MyPhone website, the battery of this phone can last 6 hours talk time and 270 hours standby time. MyPhone QT7 Duo has a card slot for microSD so it can be used in storing photo and music files, specifically MP3 files that can be played by the music player in the phone.

MyPhone QT7 Duo also has a 2 megapixels camera located on the back that can be used for taking photos and videos. The phone can also be used as sound recorder and FM radio. Other applications like alarm clock, calculator, e-book reader, calendar etc. that can be found on other phones are also present in MyPhone QT7 Duo.

What's unique with MyPhone QT7 Duo or the MyPhone phones in general is that it contains the Pinoy App, which contains files that are distinctly Pinoy. What got my attention is the “My Faith” button inside the Pinoy App that contains prayers, the Rosary, Worship Songs, Mass Songs and other things that are related to the Christian Faith. This is unique because there are few companies out there that aren't afraid Faith in their products and MyPhone is one of those companies.

Other Applications available in MyPhone QT7 Duo is the App for Yahoo Messenger, Friendster, Facebook, Multiply, Twitter etc. However, I think that these Apps cannot be used because MyPhone QT7 Duo isn't WiFi enabled. You can only access the Internet through the expensive 3G and GPRS signal, which is not good considering that there are lots of phones out there that are WiFi enabled.

At a cost 2,990 pesos, I think that MyPhone QT7 Duo is not a bad buy. However, I believe that it would have been better if it is WiFi enabled.

Anti-dandruff shampoo TV commercials are making a big fuss about dandruff. In the past, people are not worried about their scalp or the minimal dandruff on their head. When I used Clear Anti-dandruff shampoo, I noticed that my scalp felt itchy. I used Clear Anti-dandruff shampoo for few days and I noticed that it worsen the dandruff on my head. Dandruff became plenty and larger in size. Because of that, I stopped using Clear Anti-dandruff shampoo and returned to regular shampoo brands. It is possible that the formulation of Clear Anti-dandruff shampoo is not suitable for my scalp.

Be Aware at Cherry Mobile Sale

It seems like Cherry Mobile is regularly doing some promo or discount sales in their stores around Metro Manila. Their sales attract droves of people who want to buy cheap but reliable phones.

I have one Cherry Mobile phone and that is 1202i, which I bought last year and costs about 1,000 pesos. My Cherry Mobile 1202i is still alive and functioning as of this day.

Cherry Mobile sales are good but buyer have something to be aware of when buying during sale period at Cherry Mobile. Here is a story related to me by my brother:

I was looking for a phone last week so I dropped by a Cherry Mobile store at SM. While I was looking at the Cherry Mobile phones at the display, I saw a man who availed the Cherry Mobile phone that is on sale. He already paid for the phone that he bought and the saleslady already gave him his receipt. The man asked the saleslady if the Cherry Mobile that he bought has a warranty. To the dismay of the man, the saleslady answered that there is no warranty for Cherry Mobile phones that are on sale.

Well, this is very much like CD-R King, which also doesn't issue warranty for their products.

So, if you are going to a Cherry Mobile sale, be aware of the fact that Cherry Mobile may not issue warranty for their products on sale.

We employees usually experience stressful events in our workplace. There are times that we are so loaded with workload that our body become too exhausted. Well, it somehow worked to slightly reduce muscle pains but not enough to totally remove the pain. I believe that the massage that this infrared massager gives is not as par with the massage that can be given by masseurs.

Also, I can't understand why it is called infrared massager. I don't know how infrared light works in alleviating muscle pains. I can't see any infrared light being emitted by this infrared massager. I believe that it is just a gimmick to make people believe that infrared has some special power to ease muscle pains.

Infrared massager can be bought to any of your local stores that sell massage tools in malls. My parents bought the infrared massager for 1,500 pesos.

Go and Have and SunJar

There is an interesting item that my brother brought home last month. This item is a big jar but it is not a cookie jar. It is not a jam jar either. What my brought home is the SunJar.

If jam jar is used to store jam, the sunjar is used to store sunlight during day time. Yes! This wonderful jar relies on solar energy to generate light. All you have to do is to place it beside a well lighted window at it will store solar energy in rechargeable batteries. It contains solar cells so that it is able to convert solar energy to electricity.

I recommend this sunjar, especially now it is summer and we are threatened once again with power outages. Sunjar is an environment-friendly way of lighting up your night.

Last week, my office computer suffered a severe case of virus infection. For the whole day, my Avira and AVG anti-virus software kept on popping virus notifications that disrupted my work. I had no other choice but to do a whole day computer scan.
